Sometimes the life we lead is not the life we need. This was the case for me and through a serious of unusual circumstances I changed, albeit kicking and screaming. I am grateful to those who helped me along the way.
To my son who was there for all of it, and to my wife who appreciates what I have become, thank you.

Did you know ...

For over twenty years I had a career in corporate IT. I loved the challenge, enjoyed the money, and was too busy to know otherwise. In 2001 my life was turned upside down and I lost everything I valued. I had to start again, but this time I decided to look inward and trust my own internal wisdom. It took 10 years and a book to develop a new way to be in the world. I trained in natural therapies and learned a technique called somato respiratory integration. I learned to foster my creative side, and trust my intuition. I went to University and studied language and philosophy, leaving with a degree in writing studies. I finished y academic training with a diploma in photography.

Since then I have honed my creative craft and use these skills to create photographic prints, mixed media work and books. I have been involved in two exhibitions and won a national award for my photography. I have written three books, my last The Great New Zealand Cafe, was based on a three month road trip around New Zealand (with the family) looking for the best character cafés.

I live in Queenstown New Zealand where I continue to develop my craft as a writer, photographer, and printmaker. I enjoy the challenge of breaking the norm (hand printing to substrates other than paper), and continue to develop my photography and writing skills by creating bespoke books for others. My next book will be called The Prostitute & the Terrorist - The Path to Redemption..........
